From 1 March 2013 to 28 February 2014 the Membership fee is:

• R120 for a Single Membership and R160 for a Family Membership.

Your annual membership fee entitles you to:

• A newsletter, CHS NEWS, which is distributed monthly, providing information on various subjects, what's on in the gardening world, and much more.

• Access to our monthly meetings where guest speakers address members on a wide range of garden-related topics: from ants to artichokes or from Zimbabwe to Zantedeschias.

• At monthly meetings one of our horticultural experts also gives interesting information on the specimens on the ‘what’s in flower’ table and it is always possible to purchase unusual 'slipped' plants from members' gardens.

• A stimulating programme, throughout the year, of talks, garden visits and technical demonstrations (pruning, propagating etc).

• A chance to win our beautiful silver floating trophies (some dating from the early years of the CHS), and valuable nursery vouchers, by entering your blooms in our annual flower show held at the Alphen Centre, Constantia in late August/early September.

• An annual end-of-year party.

• Vote at the AGM.
